Let’s have an honest conversation for a second.
Real estate agents?
We get a bad rap.
And sometimes… not without reason.
There ARE lazy agents out there.
There ARE unethical ones.
There ARE people in this industry who should’ve chosen another career path, bless their hearts.
BUT —
Here’s the truth most consumers don’t realize:
Every agent runs their business independently — even under the same brokerage.
Just because:
• one agent was rude
• one agent didn’t communicate
• one agent pressured you
• one agent cut corners
• one agent made you feel unheard
Does NOT mean every single agent at that company operates that way.
We all:
• have different work ethics
• have different personalities
• handle clients differently
• hold different standards
• manage our businesses in our own unique ways
One bad experience ≠ every agent is the same.
Just like:
• one bad teacher doesn’t make the whole school bad
• one bad server doesn’t make every restaurant employee terrible
• one bad doctor doesn’t represent the whole hospital
Same thing here.
There ARE times when an entire brokerage has issues — absolutely.
But 95% of the horror stories people tell?
They come from one agent.
One person.
Not the whole system.
And if you’ve had a bad experience, I’m truly sorry.
But don’t let one agent stop you from working with someone who:
• communicates clearly
• listens to your needs
• protects your interests
• negotiates with integrity
• and genuinely cares about your outcome
We’re not all the same.
And honestly?
A lot of us are out here working ourselves to the bone trying to prove the stereotypes wrong.
